Proposal for the total abolition of traffic regulations (in Antwerp), is a plan for a new kind of city, one with a smaller footprint and with more attention paid to the lived environment.

The proposal bucks the trend that contends that cities should be clean, orderly and safe, and that such is achievable through good management, with more 'blue' on the street, with more regulations, controls and arbitrary fines.  But a city bubbling with life can only exist when self-organization, chaos, sensuality and interaction within the public arena are freely permitted.
